CONGRESS DESIGNATES NATIONAL SAVE FOR RETIREMENT WEEK
In June 2007, both the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives approved resolutions designating October 21 - 27, 2007 as National Save for Retirement Week.

The purpose of this resolution is to raise public awareness and to remind everyone about the importance of saving for retirement.  Whether you're saving on an individual level or through an employer-sponsored retirement program, saving for retirement has become a national goal.
