New Online Banking Enhancements
We've made some exciting changes to online banking that will change the way your account information is displayed. As a result of this update, you will now be able to view future, pending, and on-hold transactions on your Transaction Activity Log.
The following displays may look different on your Transaction Activity:
- Debit Card Transactions
- ACH Transactions
- Online Billpay Payments
- Deposited Items
Debit Card Transactions
When a transaction is performed, the transaction may take some time to clear. During this period, the transaction will post to your online Transaction History as “pending." Please be aware that at certain merchants (such as restaurants and gas stations), the pending amount may differ from the actual purchase amount. The transactions will ultimately move from "pending" to "completed" status.
When an ACH transaction is received by the bank, it will post in pending status in your Transaction Activity until it clears on the effective date.
With the new update, you are now able to see future bill payments up to seven days before their scheduled delivery date. The pending amount will be present on the activities log once it is scheduled if the payment date is within seven days. Although the pending amount may change your balance, it is important to recognize that the transaction is not completed until the bill delivery date arrives.
For deposits that require a hold, the hold amount will post to your online banking transaction history as “pending." If there are multiple hold periods, the hold amount for each period will display separately. As each hold period expires, the corresponding hold will disappear from your Transaction Activity.
